Recombinant Murine EGF

EGF is a potent growth factor that stimulates the proliferation of various epidermal and epithelial cells. Additionally, EGF has been shown to inhibit gastric secretion, and to be involved in wound healing. EGF signals through a receptor known as c-erbB, which is a class I tyrosine kinase receptor. This receptor also binds with TGF-α and VGF (vaccinia virus growth factor). Recombinant Murine EGF is a 6.0 kDa globular protein containing 53 amino acid residues, including 3 intramolecular disulfide bonds.

Organoid Media supplement growth factor
We have been using this product in our lab as a supplement in the media for growing organoids derived from a mouse prostate. It is a really helpful product and helps for the 3D organoids to form isolated from the epithelial tissue of the mouse prostate. The delivery of the product is also very quick and that's why we prefer buying it from peprotech.

Quality product - no other match!
We routinely use recombinant EGF for maintaining our brain cancer cells. There is no match for the quality that Peprotech provides. Even after their move to a different location or during this pandemic the supply did not interrupt. That helped us to keep our research going! Keep it up!
