Monoclonal Antibodies

Source: Monoclonal Mouse

Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Leptin. Anti-Human Leptin-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: E.coli derived Recombinant Human Leptin (PeproTech catalog# 300-27)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 12.0-16.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 100 pg/ml of Recombinant Human Leptin when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified Anti-Human TNF-α (500-P86BT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 0.5-1.0 μg/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Human Leptin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.20-0.40 μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human Leptin is 1.0-2.0 ng/lane under reducing conditions, or 0.2-0.4 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions.
