Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Rat IL-10. Anti-Rat IL-10-specific antibody was purified from tissue culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: E.coli derived Recombinant Rat IL-10 (PeproTech catalog# 400-19)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 8.0-16.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 500pg/ml of Recombinant Rat IL-10 when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified anti-Rat IL-10 (500-P139BT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 μg/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Rat IL-10 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.5-1.0 μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Rat IL-10 is 0.5-1.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
