Produced in BALB/c mice using highly pure (>98%) recombinant human Eotaxin as the immunizing antigen. This IgG1κ antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.
E.coli derived Recombinant Human Eotaxin (CCL11) (PeproTech catalog #300-21)
In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100µl/well), a concentration of 1.0-2.0 µg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 800 pg/ml of recombinant human Eotaxin when used with PeproTech's biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human Eotaxin (500-P41GBt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 µg/ml.
To detect hEotaxin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hEotaxin is 0.5-1.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
