Monoclonal Antibodies

Preparation: Produced in BALB/c x ICR F1 mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-12. Anti-Human IL- 12-specific antibody was purified from ascites fluid by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: CHO cell derived Recombinant Human IL-12 p70 (PeproTech catalog# 200-12)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 1000pg/ml Recombinant Human IL-12 when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified Anti-Human IL-12 (500-P154GBT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 0.25-0.5 μg/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Human IL-12 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.50-1.0 μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-12 is 0.50-1.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
