Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-1β. Anti-Human IL-1β-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: E.coli derived Recombinant Human IL-1β (PeproTech catalog# 200-01B)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 0.25-0.50 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 100pg/ml of Recombinant Human IL-1β when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified Anti-Human IL-1β (500-P21BBT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.25-0.50 μg/ml

Western Blot: To detect Human IL-1β by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-1β is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under reducing conditions and 4.0-8.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
