Monoclonal Antibodies

Source: Monoclonal Mouse

Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Resistin. Anti-Human Resistin-specific antibody was purified from cell culture fluid by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: E.coli derived Recombinant Human Resistin (PeproTech catalog# 450-19)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 0.5-1.0μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 5.0pg/ml of Recombinant Human Resistin when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified anti-Human Resistin (500-P183GBT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 1.25-2.5μg/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Human Resistin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.5- 1.0μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human Resistin is 0.1-0.2 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
