Monoclonal Antibodies

Source: Monoclonal Mouse

Preparation: Produced in BALB/c mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MCP-2 (CCL8). Anti-Human MCP-2 (CCL8)-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: E.coli derived Recombinant Human MCP-2 (CCL8) (PeproTech catalog# 300-15)

Sandwich ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 500pg/ml of Recombinant Human MCP-2 when used with PeproTech’s Biotinylated Antigen Affinity Purified anti-Human MCP-2 (CCL8) (500-P35BT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 1.0-2.0 μg/ml.

Western Blot: To detect Human MCP-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 μg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MCP-2 is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
